“Nu… nugigigigigi…!!”

In the back of the closet, I pull on a large box tucked away tightly
with all my strength.

But, no matter how much I pull,
the box just wouldn’t come out…

Just a little more and I can get it out! is what I thought but
then I flew back and landed on my butt.

She who was standing on the side worriedly watching over me all this time,

As we took out a bag
full of ornaments that was tucked away with the tree,
her face lit up.

“Well, I’ll go put up the star-shaped ornament so,
you go put up the apple-shaped one, okay?
It’s the same color as your chubby cheeks”

As I say that, she puffed up her cheeks a little angry.

Was “chubby” not a good word to use?

“Nuwawa~, sorry I made you mad!

I gently give her a little kiss on the cheek.

Her cheeks got redder and redder after doing so…

“See, It’s the same color as the apple-shaped ornament!
Should I bring a mirror over so you could see?”

As I get up, she panics and holds me down.

I tilted my head to the side but, with a red-face, she said
“Let’s hurry and decorate the tree!”
so I nodded my head vigorously in agreement.

――several minutes later,
we finished putting up all the ornaments!

“I’ll turn on the lights now, then~!”

Turning the switch on, the lights that we put on the tree
went from red, blue, yellow… it changed from many different colors, in a gentle glow.

“Pretty…” She whispers like a sigh,
as she stares intently at the tree.

Yeah, the tree is definitely pretty too. but…

I gently hug her from behind,
and kiss her on the cheek.

She looks at me surprisingly.

The color of her cheeks is…
It definitely matches up with an apple.

“Since we’ve already finished the preparations for the christmas party…
is it alright if we stay like this a little longer?”

While asking, I give her another kiss.

“…It’s unfair if you ask while giving me a kiss.”

The night of Christmas Eve.

I gently pat her head as she sleeps,
leaning on my shoulder breathing slowly.

Even if i were to be cursed, as long as Yoh-kun is here, I’ll be fine.” She says, laughing slightly.
